And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.

The Douglas famIly

In March of 2019, Justin, Charla, Madilee, Graham, and Westin left everything they knew in Baker, Florida to surrender to to the heart of God for the people of Uganda. While in Baker, Justin served as a youth pastor and our family lived a quiet, comfortable life. God blessed us beyond measure and, He STILL is!

God has burdened our hearts for the people of Africa. It didn't take long for Him to show us exactly what He had for us to do. After visiting Uganda on a family mission trip, God made it evident that we were to sell everything we owned and make Uganda our new home. We invite you to partner with us in Uganda as we plant churches, train pastors, and work to reach a lost world for Jesus Christ!

The Cook Family

We are Bill and Deanna Cook, full time support missionaries in Guatemala with MANNA Worldwide. We manage Casa Maná, which is MANNA Worldwide’s guesthouse in San Cristóbal for short term mission teams in Guatemala. Our guesthouse is located in the mountains with stunning views overlooking Guatemala City. With 13 bedrooms all with private bathrooms, Casa Maná has the capacity to host teams of up to 60 people.

We met while Bill was in the United States Air Force stationed at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona and were married on August 14, 1982. We spent the next twenty years moving and living all over the world. Our last assignment was to Hurlburt Field, Florida where we lived for nineteen years. We were saved while attending a Missions Church plant when we lived in the United Kingdom. We have come full circle and are now missionaries serving and living in a foreign county.

We have two wonderful children, Sarah and Derek, who are both married and have given us a total of five grandchildren, Aiden, Bella, Khloe, Rowan and Ariel. Leaving our grandchildren and families to follow God’s call on our life is our biggest struggle.

During our time in Florida we took our first mission trip to Guatemala in 2007 and fell in love with the people and the country. From that time on, we progressed from being team members to organizing and leading mission teams. In 2014 we surrendered to the call of full time missions work in Guatemala. In June of 2016, God led us to join MANNA Worldwide and by January 2017 we were living in Guatemala.

As full time missionaries living in Guatemala, we are responsible for raising all of our own personal monthly support for our living expenses through donations from churches, businesses and individuals. Please pray about joining our monthly support team so that we can continue to serve God and the missions teams here in Guatemala.
